Combination of machine learning methods and process simulation systems

The goal of this research work can be divided into two main objectives. The first objective aims to increase the accuracy of simulation results by integrating machine learning methods into a process simulation system. The second objective targets the reduction of the experimental effort for training machine learning models. To achieve this, a methodology based on simulated data will be investigated. In addition, the simulation-based model will be refined using a reduced number of experimental measurements to deal with the deviations between simulated and measured data.
